Arthur Newman

(1924-2020)

We mourn the loss of former Joslyn board member and benefactor Arthur Newman, a film production executive, former Rancho Mirage city councilmember and philanthropist.

Among many contributions, Newman is credited with creating the theater program at the Joslyn Center and spearheading campaigns to fund it.

In recognition of his passion for theater, the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center was dedicated in 2009.
