This year, we invite you to stroll the Avant-Garden path with us for the 16th Annual Joslyn in Bloom Fashion Show Luncheon. Avant-garde is a French term of military origin translating as “advance guard” or “vanguard.” In the arts and literature, the term identifies an experimental genre or work of art which is aesthetically and intellectually innovative. Notable avant-garde movements include Bauhaus, Cubism, Dadaism, Futurism, and Surrealism.

 In recognition of always being on the cutting edge of philanthropy and community support, Barbara Rogers and Gary Geske are the well-deserved recipients of the 2026 Merritt & Penny Joslyn Award.
