This October, mark Italian-American Heritage Month by recognizing the contributions and achievements of Italian-Americans. Over 26 million Americans of Italian descent currently reside in the U.S. — making up America’s seventh largest ethnic group. The heritage month is in October to coincide with Columbus Day — the national holiday celebrated on the second Monday of the month. Italian-American Heritage Month honors the distinguished cultural contributions of Americans with Italian lineage.
Let's keep celebrating into November with Wine and All That Jazz: Italian Style. We are kicking off the season in "Italian style" with this annual fundraiser on Wednesday, November 5, at the Classic Club in Palm Desert. The evening celebrates Italian wine and cuisine, and guests are encouraged to dress in "Italian style" (Italian fashions or personal interpretation). The event, which raises critical funds for Joslyn programs and services, commences at 5:30pm with a prosecco and passed antipasti reception followed by a four-course wine-pairing dinner, entertainment, live auction and fund appeal. Come join us for a buona serata (good evening) of fun, fine food & wine, and fundraising!
