2026 END SENIOR HUNGER CAMPAIGN

Dear Joslyn Center Members and Friends,

A few weeks ago, we reached out through our End Senior Hunger Campaign asking for your support of one of the Joslyn Center's most essential programs — providing food assistance and nutritious meals to older adults in our community.

As we enter the summer months, we understand that many of our members and supporters are traveling or settling into their seasonal routines. As a result, responses to the appeal have been slower than anticipated. However, the need for this vital service does not take a summer break.

In fact, demand for nutrition support continues to grow. Every day, seniors throughout our community rely on the Joslyn Center for healthy meals, food distribution, and the comfort of knowing they are not facing food insecurity alone. For many, these services are more than a meal —they are a lifeline.

The End Senior Hunger Campaign represents one of our final dedicated fundraising efforts to support this program during the current fiscal year (7/1/25-6/30/26). The success of this appeal will directly impact our ability to continue serving those who depend on us.

If you have already made a gift, please accept our heartfelt thanks. Your generosity is making a meaningful difference.

If you have not yet had an opportunity to respond, we respectfully ask that you consider making a contribution today. Every gift — regardless of size—helps ensure that no senior in our community goes hungry.

Together, we can continue to provide nourishment, dignity, and hope for the older adults who count on the Joslyn Center. Please see below for feedback from our Food Bank clients.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our mission.

With gratitude,

John Brennan

Executive Director
