World Art Day is celebrated every year on April 15. All around the world, people have their definitions for what they consider to be art. Different cultures have different tastes and styles. This holiday is used as an opportunity to promote the development of art. It encourages people to take the time to notice the beautiful things around them. With our busy schedules, people don’t always have the time to go to art galleries. A yearly reminder about beauty helps people relax and just enjoy experiencing the world. It shares knowledge, sparks curiosity, and leads to very interesting conversations.

The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese tells the story of a multi-generational Indian family living in Kerala, where a mysterious "condition" plagues them: in every generation, at least one family member dies by drowning, seemingly by fate, as they navigate life's complexities against the backdrop of changing India, with the central theme revolving around the powerful, symbolic presence of water and the family's struggle to understand and confront this inherited curse; the narrative focuses on the matriarch "Big Ammachi" and her descendants, particularly the challenges they face with love, loss, and the evolving medical landscape, as they attempt to break the cycle of tragedy tied to water.
