Have you ever thoughtabout meditation, or wondered what all the hype is about? Maybe you even triedto meditate and got frustrated in the process.

In this group you will learn about the different types ofmeditation and have an opportunity to practice each one. This way you will beable to find a style that works best for you.

It is important to knowthat a meditation practice is not based on any religious ideology, nor is itanti-religious. Meditation is a processof learning to calm the mind and the body and reaching a deeper awareness of yourspiritual self. Meditation is practiced by people of all faiths.

The group will be led by Glendon Geikie, MSW. Glendon is a retired clinical social worker and now serves people and families as an End-of-Life Doula
